Ever try to record the symphony from that brand-new exhaust you installed, only to get a video that’s mostly just wind noise?

Thankfully, there is a way to get decent audio that you can share with your friends, and all you need is a couple of inexpensive microphones and some tape–like this video featuring a Miata.

Step one, come up with an irrational slogan that makes the People watching at home Think that the apocalypse is coming, even though you explain somewhere in the middle of the video that it is not. And waste everyone's time in the process.
Step two, plaster that slogan all over your video title and thumbnail, so you can get as many hits as possible, while also receiving as many thumbs downs as possible.
oh. We weren't talking about click bait?

I went this route here. Mostly because I love the way his car sounds. My last event it sounded great, however I had software issue where TrackAddict defaulted back to my phone mic, so I didnt get any race audio. However, it was fun answering inquiries into the half squirrel taped to my bumper.

In reply to Colin Wood :

Dude man needs to rethink his video recording.

I found his house within 20min on google maps.

Somewhere along the line I picked up a tip...definitely do not shoot immediately around your house and then shoot the surrounding areas.  Super easy to hone in on the location.  Especially if you have cars you care about.

So I usually wait to record anything about 5-10min away from home.  Leaves it vague enough.  Along with I do not shoot any video outside.  Usually inside my garage with the door down.
