Rebuilding a steering rack is simpler than you might realize. Essentially, all you are really doing is disassembling, cleaning, greasing and then reassembling said rack. Sounds simple enough, right?
And, although this video is specifically about rebuilding the steering rack in our 1960 Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite, this information is applicable to virtually any car equipped with rack-and-pinion steering.
