Having recently moved to CA (near SF), I'm becoming acquainted with the wonderful smog process. I need either a racing beat or Jackson racing intake, a Jackson racing header, or stock parts in order to pass. My car currently has a no-name header and hot air intake, so it will be no big loss to go back to stock.
I have a stock crossover tube for the intake but need the rubber collar to connect it to the throttle body as well.
On the exhaust front, I would need an uncracked header, heat shield, and downpipe.
Anybody have some stock junk sitting around collecting dust?
I have a 2000 miata with the California spec emissions setup. Cats were replaced 40k ago.
Would that help?
If you got facebook, hit up the guys on Bay Area Miata Owners club (BAMO) , they might be able to help you out and most of the guys are in the San Francisco/ San Jose area. I do have an extra exhaust manifold, unfortunately for a 1.8L car. Good luck.
