1994 NA Miata- your next $2000 Challenge car! $1200

I call this car "Fugly". Because it is. Someone plasti-dipped it years ago and most of it is peeled off. Under the plasti-dip are several different color body panels.

I drove it into my shop 7 years ago and it's been there ever since. I wanted to build a V8 Miata. Now I just want my shop space back. 
 

I'll post more pics later, but for now this is the one I have.

The bad: 

- Minor disassembled

- Hasn't been run in years

The good:

- 1.8L

- 6 speed

- Torsen

- Rust free, very straight body (some assembly required)

- Perfect soft top

- Rebuilt FL title (open)

I will be at the $2000 Challenge, and am willing to bring it there.

Is the car located in   GA?

Does that  open title mean it is titelable again, once repaired?

The car is near Columbus, Georgia. (In AL)

The rebuilt title means it was once salvage, but someone rebuilt it (and should be able to be put back on the road). Open means it was never transferred to my name. 

(Rewording)... The rebuilt title means repairs were already made to put it back on the road. Since that time it has again fallen into disrepair (which has not affected the title)

When you say minor disassembled, do you mean motor, or the car?

I mean as seen in the pictures. Motor is untouched. A fender removed, bumper, headlights are in the trunk, etc.

Edit...  or put the junk in the passenger seat and drive it as is?

No guarantee required.  I just mean if I check / change the fluids, will it run and drive roadkill style?  I'll fix it on the way as necessary.

Likely the battery is dead (I can help with that).  Not sure what else.

If it is still available and you can drag it to the Challenge, I'll take it and can pick it up there on Saturday.  I've already committed to instructing the classroom portion for PCA at The Firm in Starke on Saturday and can head over to Gainesville Raceway after that.

Yea, just to be totally clear on what's happening...

I WANT this car.  I have the cash rolling around.  I have approval.

I don't have any weekends free between now and June to actually go get it.

I talked with Mr Svrex and let him know that if somebody can make the deal happen before I can, then it wasn't meant to be for me.  If it still is available, I'll start a build thread when I can get it.
