Thank you for all the suggestions. The name "colossal fossil" seems to have stuck, but we are just calling it the fossil for short. I might have chosen that one to save postage on a hat.....
And in other news, one of my friends likes my bus so much that he went out and bought his own. North Carolina road trip coming up.

At some point, will you please walk us through an oil change on that sucker? I think it would be informative and entertaining. And a tour of the inside would be great, although it will lead to more busses joining the GRM fleet I am sure...
