Nice camper. I'm not sure I ever saw one before.

I've looked around a bit, and this seems to be the only one for sale out there at the moment.

I feel like the majority of the Chinook's were built on a Toyota platform, I don't think I've ever seen a Nissan one.

Eugene and Portland are lousy with these things.

I found some larger Dodge-based ones that seem pretty nice.

It probably wouldn't be too hard to make that a 4x4.

my old auto tech instructor had one similar to this but it was a few years newer and it was about equally as awesome. We called it his "sugar shack".

A young man rolled into NAPA with a Toyota one, got it from his grand parents who lived in Florida. Seems a tree fell on it, so he removed the camper and now it's a flat bed.

Pretty nice one too! 'Yota flat bed duallie with a six! Jealous.

I have a bunch of the factory GM campers like this with the Chinook made camper shell. The Chevrolet version is called the Blazer Chalet and the GMC is the Casa grande. I have three Blazer Chalets and one Casa Grande myself, then a buddy of mine and I own another eight together that we're selling. They are real fun rigs and very capable. You can find a lot more info on the campers in general plus a little info on the Toyota models at blazerchalet.com.

You'll need to log in to post.
