Official Wordle thread

Meh.

Got caught in the too-many-options-not-enough-letters-used loop...

Been playing quordle and Blossom lately as well.  All three take about 20 minutes of productive time out of my day that I could otherwise spend being unproductive in different ways...

That's 5 two days in a row for me.

Too lazy to screenshot on my phone, but it's a 4 for me today. I did my usual and overthought it.

Wordle 666 is coming up...not sure if I'll go with SATAN or DEVIL

Finally broke my streak of 4s and 5s.

#667 broke my most recent streak (too many options and not enough letters used). Got #668 today in 6 (today broke my wife's streak)... Need to regroup tomorrow...

Was hoping to hit 200 today and just broke my streak.

Today's wordle was a real soul crusher.  Of the 5 people in my wordle chat, 2 failed, and 3 hung on and got it in 6.  

I have recorded a dozed 2's on my current streak but still haven't gotten a 1.

I didn't think today's was that bad.  After my third word, I had the first and last letters and I couldn't think of anything else that looked like that.

I got today in four but was stuck at three for a while after using up a lot of options.

Right there. Got it in 4 but was seriously like, "WTF? This can't possibly be the answer."

Same. Got it in four but I was just plugging in a letter until it accepted it.

I just figure the puzzlemaker got really bored with trying to constantly come up with different five letter words...

I've been on a roll the past couple of days with a string of 3's. And I keep being surprised that I'm guessing the word.

Today was:
2 yellows
All gray
Got it

I've also been doing Quordle and Quordle sequence. I've found a really weird pattern with those. Most days, I actually do better on Sequence than on the regular Quordle. It should be harder, but somehow ends up easier. I don't get it.

Also, Quordle is annoying with how often it uses much more obscure words or plurals. Like... one day "SCHWA" was one of the answers. I figured it out... but WTF?

Now that we have emoji support, this thread should be way easier to post in, right?
